Domain name debacle

Update – September 2019

Some people will have already noticed that (what used to be) my primary website now redirects.  It’s fortunate that I now have the option of dumping them forever, but the forum that’s used by a great many people is a valuable resource and it can’t be moved. This is a shame, but it can’t be helped. A new one is operational, and the US hosted site has been closed permanently (this happened in early 2020).

For anyone who is having problems finding my site, there is now only one option. Simply use my Australian website …

sound-au.com

This site is stable (although there was another domain name debacle a couple of years ago that caused my original domain to be shut down – Hmmm. I’m seeing a pattern here).  My primary site is now …

sound-au.com  This site now hosts everything – the old site in the US is now deprecated and gone forever, and sound-au.com is the only domain now in use.  This will be stable, as even if there’s a catastrophe I can change hosts with no (significant) interruption.

With any luck, everything will now be stable in the foreseeable future.

Cheers,    Rod Elliott

  1. Hi Rod, Hope you get the domains sorted out ! I was hoping to buy some boards. As of 13 Oct I can’t access any of the links you posted.
